introduces the Girls on Grapes Club! (sorry, guys!)
Girls on Grapes is based on the premise that the more we know about wine
and the more we taste it, the more enjoyable our hobby becomes!
Meet us at Hops & Vines, 797 Haywood Road, West Asheville to join our fun and educational women’s wine tasting group! It’s already shaping up to be a fabulous group of women, dedicated to learning about wine and HAVING A BALL!
Currently, we are meeting the third Thursday of every month OR the fourth Wednesday from 7 to 8:30pm. Each month we’ll have a theme (See Schedule Below). We’ll taste, on average, 5 different wines during our tasting. Jessica will guide us through the meeting, but don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of time to socialize, too! We’ll always have some small noshes, but we suggest eating dinner before coming to the club meetings! All you have to do is show up and put a few dollars into our wine basket to cover the cost of the wine provided. After your initial visit, if you would like to keep coming to our tastings/meetings you must become an official Girls on Grapes club member.
Becoming an official member is simple, too! Just fill out the registration form, which is posted below, snag one at the meeting or get one at Hops & Vines anytime. Annual membership is $25 and includes some great stuff:
· Your very own Girls on Grapes T-shirt
· Membership card providing discounts on wine and other special promotions at Hops & Vines
· A friendly, non-intimidating forum for learning and tasting at monthly tastings/meetings
· New gal friends!
· A portion of the club’s proceeds donated to local charity.
Remember: Any woman can join, regardless of how much you know about wine!
